Just found your channel. I’m 54, and just getting back into modeling since ‘84. I learned to thin the green putty with toluene and “paint” the slurry onto the pin marks and gaps. You have better control and I never had issues with shrinkage. Great watching all the modern products/techniques in action.

I've been on a HobbyBoss trip lately and found their kits to be really good, especially for the price. Those pin marks are a bit of a bummer though. I didn't think you could actually get them under the detail. On a lighter note, my Defiant arrived today so looking forward to starting that, and my missus enjoyed the fruit salad! ;)
