I was always fascinated by CNC machines, but building one was beyond my ability and scope. This was until I became a 3d printer owner and discovered Ryan Zellars' website www.v1engineering.com
A great thanks to Ryan for all the fantastic open source builds and also a great thanks to the very active and helpful MPCNC community!
This is my journey of how I built the MPCNC and got it to work, presented in a quick montage. Hope this video inspires the maker in you and motivates you to build amazing projects such as these.
This might be the very first MPCNC built in India, drop a comment below if you are building one and would like any sort of help regarding the build. This film was shot on my s9+
Thanks for watching!

Good job 👍👍 It possible to extend y axis up to 3 meters with same settings ? For 8 hours continue work ( commercial purpose) Please advise....
@yogeshnd
@yogeshnd 4 жыл бұрын
This CNC isn't made for industrial use, I think extending it upto 3 meters is not advisable as it might compromise the accuracy and the stability of the machine. There's another version: Lowrider CNC which can go for it might serve your purpose. www.v1engineering.com/lowrider-cnc/

Don't leave one of these unattended, there are many ways they can fail in subtle ways and then set themselves on fire. Closed loop cncs are safer in that regard but a lot more expensive.

Hi can you please share what diameter pipes you are using and are these available online in India?
@yogeshnd
@yogeshnd 5 жыл бұрын
the pipes are SS, 1 inch in diameter and they are available at almost all the hardware stores in India. Be sure you 3d print the right version for 1" diameter pipes: www.thingiverse.com/thing:1671517

How long are the pipes that you use ?
@yogeshnd
@yogeshnd 5 жыл бұрын
The CNC is 1000 mm x 500mm the pipes are cut accordingly, Ryan has a calculator for the same, you can find it here: jscalc.io/calc/Y1Db347ni9eckSKc

did you buy the non 3d printed parts as part of a kit? or where did you source your parts (ie nuts ,bolts, screws, bearings, etc)?
@yogeshnd
@yogeshnd 5 жыл бұрын
I didn't but them from the kit, hardware parts (ie nuts ,bolts, screws, bearings, etc) bought from local store. Electronics ordered online.

Great Job! Loved the video. I have a few videos of my MPCNC with the laser, router, and chocolate 3d printer attachment. Could we get an update? Favourite software? any mods/difficulties? have you made any improvements? looks like your latest uploads were featuring creations made with your MPCNC?

Sure, This happened to me with one or two bearings, I rolled up those bearings with masking tape making the diameter slightly bigger. Problem Solved!!
