How has this video not gotten a million likes yet? Fantastic. I love what you’ve done here Robin. It truely is something I’ve never seen done before. And as you’ve said, it’s a selling point if you ever sell your house as someone could set anything up on the other side. I hope you stay in your house for many years, decades even, as I feel Brick Nottingham 2.0 is the coolest thing by far that could reside on the other side of the mirror. Funnily enough I’m planning on adding an underground casino to my city with a speak easy entrance on the other side of a book shelf in a book store. I’m thinking of taking the Birch Books Modular building, doubling the width, making it it full baseplate’s width as well asmaking it deeper so it ends at the back of the baseplate or one or two bricks in from the edge and adding extra stories making it taller.

Hi, I was just thinking about your access holes. While you're in the planning stage, I think you could do something special with them. I think you should build something to "plug" the hole while not in use. Ether with a table that rises up to fill the gap. Or have the gap open up like a trap door. You could cover it with blue baseplate and call them the 4 lakes of brick nottingham. But when you need an access hole. You open the trapdoor/lower the table and you imerge from the middle of the lake. When you have completely finnished an area. You could cap it off by filling that lake with boats as you won't need accsess anymore.
@RobinHoodBricks4 ай бұрын
That wouldn't work with the subway stations in the standing holes as they're underwater and would be hidden!

Stunning reveal Sir. Awesome job. I hope you got to see my previous comment about the carpet/with under padding. I was a flooring contractor for1 5 years, when I was much younger. My concern is that, carpet with pad will make it more difficult to level your table surfaces. A commercial tight looped carpet fastened directly to the floor would give you a much more stable surface to build on.
@RobinHoodBricks4 ай бұрын
Too late I think. Oh well, not to worry as the legs I use are pretty adjustable and LEGO has reasonable tolerance!
@MrPolleyr4 ай бұрын
@@RobinHoodBricks ok, I wish I could have mentioned this sooner. Didn’t really think you would be using carpet with pad in that location. I would advise setting up you tables and letting them sit on the carpet for a few days to let it sink into the soft surface. If you have another room, like a bedroom with carpet/pad , lift one of the bed legs and see how far the bed leg has sunk into the carpet, that will give you some idea as to what to expect in the Lego room.

I had a random thought the other day. I had to take some time off work after a surgery and that gave me way too much time for crazy random thoughts (I’m healing well and back to work by the way). But as I looked at my comparatively small, but satisfying LEGO city it occurred to me that you don’t have the avengers tower in your city, do you? (Unless I’m just blanking on where it is). Anyway, if that’s true I thought after all the incredible work you did to make the “Brick Nottingham Post” a much more interesting build than the Daily Bugle what about the avengers tower? My thought was, are you ready for this? The Robin Hood Tower!!! I know what you’re thinking. How could this random viewer have possibly come up with such a brilliant, some might say genius idea? Well, that’s just a burden I have to carry. Anyway, I kinda doubt I’m the first to think of or even suggest this, but I was thinking of a Marvel superhero versions of Robin and his merry band of misfits. I just want to see this idea actualized and I’m too lazy to do it myself. So I’m passing the burden on to you. Also, I’m very excited to see what you do with this new space.
@RobinHoodBricks4 ай бұрын
Glad you are back to health. The reason I don't have an Avengers Tower is that it's unique and in most KZbin cities so I'm technically being different by excluding it. I'm not a marvel fan but I do like the idea of superhero Robin and pals. Could be expensive!
