My whole life I've only owned $500 trucks outside of the one time I spent $3,000, which ended up costing me more than all the other vehicles I've owned in repairs just to keep it on the road for a year. But, thanks to Bath Subaru and LP Aventure, I was able to turn my Subaru Crosstrek into a Makery and Mischief Adventure Mobile. Bath Subaru set me up with a 2013 orange Subaru Crosstrek and LP Aventure provided the 2 Inch lift kit, brush guard, rims, and under carriage protective plating. Along with the help of tires and accessories from Amazon, my adventure mobile became a reality.

Appalachian American find a source of power hell my old bronco I can start with one wire just jumping the starter fuse box maybe has 5 glass fuses which are not required to make it run.

The crosstrek is getting the attention it deserves! It’s my first car and this is my dream build eventually after college. Just a tip, you can fit a mattress in the back of the crosstrek very easily if you put all the seats down. The most I’ve gotten is a twin size in there with 4 pillows

Funny, my number one qualification for this car was the ability to lay down to sleep in it. The salesman looked at me funny as I put down the seats and laid down in the back. Owned the car for 5yrs now, it's a great one man camper. I found it best to take the headrests off and lay down the front and back seats, with two overlapping pieces of plywood from front to back. Get some Mann springs for towing/hauling, really helps with rear end sag.

I used to like the fact you could hear the road in a Subaru, you could hear the engine, you could hear the air intake, and the wind. Those noises were the sounds of driving- started off with an 88 Loyale, sounded and behaved like a sports car. And my Outback went EVERYWHERE.

Awesome Crosstrek !!! Just rolled over 135k on mine and was thinking of putting a lift on it also. I take mine up into western Maine and never worry about the snow or "soft roading" I do out there. I just bought a 2014 blue 5 speed , and I love it! I had to look far and wide for a manual , but Im traditional like that. Its also the newest car that I have had in a long time. I can't wait to take it out in the woods and see how she does. Also the previous owner put mud tires on it and lifted it also, so its ready for some 4 wheeling.

You will love it! Wife just got s 2019 sport forester. We put the lp adventure lift, method wheels, and bfg a/ts. I always thought subarus were dorky, but I am a huge fan! Little under powered but that's our only complaint. I dig your house! Has some character

So if you want a compact that has no power but fin to drive then go with the crosstreck if u want space and we'll more power the outback is much better. Or even the forester. and Subaru as a hole is the best I love the all wheel drive and not geting stuck or sliding on the ice and snow. Just wish they had an affordable big truck I could get for my second car

Your car's power sockets go back to a fuse on an "ignition on" power rail. Look for an empty socket (for options not installed) on the "battery constant" rail and just move the power lead for the sockets over. Quick & easy.

My mom used to have a Subaru Impreza and a Subaru Forester and they were awesome. The Forester's gear broke and some idiot rammed her car into the back right door and swung us into another car and broke our light. And this happened in 2017 and the impreza was a 1981 and it was awesome.

I had my trailer the other day & it had a low tire. I was being lazy so I pulled into a station to air it up. The pump deal took charge cards ( 2.00 dollars ). SMH. I dug my little pump out of the back. For sure always carrie one. I like the front rack a lot

Ive had older SUVs for a while too and finally wanted to get another Subaru (had an 06 wagon and i loved it) ... plus I needed good gas mileage. The crosstrek has been a great fit so far and now... time for my wheels and tires to come in and figure out which lift I want to get. LP may be getting my business.

@@sidb9540 Interesting story, I got hit by a young driver who went full speed (~60 km per hour) through a red light my front end took the impact and the car had to be written off. (I walked away without a scratch.) I bought another Crosstrek. In total I driven just under 100,000kms and so far just regular maintence, with the execption of raditor clap that had to be replaced (under warrenty). We have had a weird winter, it's either been warm with freezing rain or really cold with lots of snow, making for terrible driving conditions. And the Crosstrek (with Birdgestone Blizzaks) has performed awesome. FYI my first car was Jeep Cheeroke with 4 wheel drive, and would never go back.

Love ya work !!! looks grouse. You probably know, but if you didnt, Torq Masters in america are very close to releasing a lunchbox locker for subarus r160 rear diff. And even more exciting Aussie AllDriveSubaru are producing a 1.6 low range to suit the 5mt out of a XT foz. All subarus bell housing patterns match. So when your CVT dies, theres upgrades !!!

Fowler's Makery and Mischief lockers make is so the wheels spin together once engaged. Really good for muddy conditions when a wheel might loose traction.

Excellent vid! I've got a '13 Pumpkin as well. Love the fact that you can change the oil yourself in 5 minutes. Beware the CVT problem... they extended the warranty to 100K. Don't wait too long to have it checked out or you'll pay for it! Like I did...!

Like these my sister has one but they need some kind of locker! The AWD works decent but a center locker would help sooooooo much. I’ve gotten it stuck in a couple places that I would not have if had a little more grip.but the Cross trek can be cool for sure.

If you live where there is rust, better hose down the underside with Fluid Film. Actually, do it either way! Do it at least once a year and it'll be worth it in the long run.
