I went with the exact tire on my 2021 Crosstrek limited 5 months ago. For the wheel I went with the matte black Method MR314 with a +15mm offset. Definitely gave my Crosstrek a very slight "bulldog" stance and I love it. No lift needed in my opinion. Great choice on the tire!

Those wheels and tires look great. I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the Falken Wildpeaks. We have them on our Outback and noticed a vast improvement over our stock factory tires, especially when we have a lot of snow on the ground

I pulled the rubber mud flaps that come stock on it under the front fender off. In fact pulled all those rubber flaps underneath in the rear as well. Slightly rubbing only on full lock in the well, but not significant to be of any concern. On Methods 502 wrapped on Geolander MT 215s. I’m driving a 2013.

what is your tire size again?

I have 15 inch white sparco terra wheels on my 2016 hyper blue trek. With bfgko at tires went down in wheel size to get the big at tires
@hotpocketdeath2 жыл бұрын
Wondering if your tire was mounted correctly. The dots should be lined up with certain wheel indicators. Yellow dot - Lightest part of the tire. Lines up with Valve Stem. Red Dot - high point of tire, lines up with wheel dot (usually white or dimple) if indicated. Red dot takes priority if wheel has an indicator to line it up with, otherwise, yellow has priority to line up with stem. Not mandatory of course, but helps with balancing and uniformity.

Hello, friend! I live in Alberta, Canada, where winter driving is hard due to snow and ice. So I'd like to hear your opinion about that tire you chose in winter. Thank you for the nice video!
@ReadySetProjects2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! wish i could speak more on the winter performance but so far we haven't really had a chance to test winter performance yet. Got them on just as things warmed up haha But definitely can say wet condition performance is awesome, and expectations are high for next winter.

Beautiful looking Trek. Did you go with the rear subframe spacers on your lift?
@ReadySetProjects Жыл бұрын
We did! Or at least the ADF kit with it a little higher in the rear came with the spacers.

I'm curious why you think you were having issues with rubbing? I've watched a lot of videos recently of people with the same tire/wheel set up (at least size wise) and they say they have no issues rubbing at stock height. Wheels and tires are one of the first things I want to change out and I definitely want to avoid any rubbing. Thanks!
@ReadySetProjects2 жыл бұрын
So I know we have some rubbing still. Though we are not at stock height. so now the center line of the tire is 2" lower which is where the wheel well is the tightest. And the only rubbing we really have to deal with (after addressing the spots in the video) is with the little rain flap at the front of the front wheel wells. And it's only when reversing with the wheel turned just right to catch the edge of the tread. Just haven't spent the time to deal with that flap yet and i can just avoid that steering angle if i don't want to hear the flap catching haha

@@ReadySetProjects That is where mine were rubbing, I just took a utility knife and shaved off about a half inch of the rubber across the bottom. I actually cut it in a curved shape, deeper in the middle and tapered less deep toward the outer edges. Works great! Doesn’t look bad at all. Most people would never notice it. Thanks for the video! Looks terrific!!

crosstreks are 5x100 bolt pattern. Wheel is 15x7 with a +15 offset. Just look up by vehicle on www.relationsracewheels.com, they'll have the specs on there for the rim

THose wheels and tires will take MORE POWER to turn and pull up hills etc... I'd LOVE to know how this does AFTER install. I knokw the CROSSTREK is WAY underpowered!! If they put a TURBO on one--- I'd buy one RIGHT NOW.. but until they do- it's UNDERPOWERED. LET us know how it effects the performance...

@ReadySetProjects Жыл бұрын
We're on different wheels now, but as for the wildpeaks... I have only praises so far on them. Though I'll be the first to admit we haven't been super tough on them. But I've been satisfied with them on dirt roads, rain, snow, noise, looks, load rating, etc. thus far. Would honestly buy again for this car.

@@ReadySetProjects sorry I should’ve been more clear I was asking about the reliability of the actual cross track but a little bit of research and I saw your video where you had to pull the motor that tells me everything I need to know. They’re notorious for oil starvation
