I imagine you can move the acsoon and the xlr module to te top handle base that it has so you can remove all of that when you remove the handle, plus if you change the handle itself to any that has a 15mm horizontal rod you could mount the vf and the monitor into it... just overthinking it but all rigs solve problems and yours is very good at that man

Hey I love your channel, and trust your advice...so I just picked up the KX, amazing camera!! I keep a pretty simple rig so I'm looking and not looking at IO adapters. I hate having to plug in D tap for monitor each time as I already have to do that with the whole SDI thing... was told D tap is not very safe as it wears out over time?? The approved IO adapters are like 850, which is a lot... I saw some others for cheaper but they are not performing well and don't seem safe. What are you thoughts, suggestions? Thanks man

Unfortunately I haven't tried any cheaper alternative. But you may want to check out Mid49. I checked out a few of their io accessories at cine gear and was impressed.

Thinking about that EVF for the Canon C400. Unfortunately it won't work with the USBc cable. All Good.

Wait, the C400 has SDI out isnt it?

@@MocFilmmaker That works fine. The C400 has a single cable that runs the monitor. I was hoping I could unplug the monitor and use the same cable to the USBC on the EVF. One cable. You can't. That's what I meant.

@@scottievee330 I get you, but it will never work. So much going on through that USB-C not just video signal. It is a good upgrade to replace the old pin connector, which does alot of thing including camera control & video signal.

That shoulder rig looked terribly unbalanced. Try to get the weight a little further back so your arms dont have to get tired after the 2nd take.
