15:21 you should start coring everything once cores on 5 of the provinces necessary to create a colony are about 95% finished, that way your colony will have cores on all their land and you will be refunded the admin as long as your progress is below 10% when they receive the provinces

I once considered trying imperialism my means of sparing my idea group slots and just let other people do the colonizing for me (then taking the valuable provinces) but I'm too ADHD to play long games anyways. I swear, in the past 10 campaigns I did I don't think I got past 1550

Why is that? For example for me wars with 200k of my own army are perfect so they are most enjoyable between 1550-1700. 4x field width number of units so 2 full armies is time when you can outplay 2-3x largest enemies. Maybe not to 100WS but 50% easily and without managing 10 armies at speed 2 with many pauses.

@@arekzawistowski2609 It's nothing complicated. I'm kinda impatient; I like constant drama, something always happening. My favorites games are the True Heir of Timur or Big Blue Blob types. Or playing a daimyo and uniting Japan in 10 years. Hyper aggressive. Any time I have to speed 5 and wait I get bored. Especially because I have a potato PC that can't handle high speeds well. My longest recent campaign was as Cebu, going for Phillipine Tiger/Spice Must Flow. I was having a great time & united every tag south of Thailand ~1520 then I realized I was admin tech 8 when other (SEA!) nations were already tech 10 despite not having institutions. I had to stop and wait to catch up in tech. I still haven't returned to the campaign.

@@John_1-1_in_Japanese i like the same thing but i don't have a potato PC i guess. I recommend you "i don't like sand" achievement if you didn't already possess it. I was trying to do it with other Arab achievements but in the process of destroying Ottomans with the help of Austria i created 6k development Germany and even with vassals around all islamic world i can't mentally and physically stand war against 1 million good quality army so now i will try do the speedrun for all deserts in northern hemisphere as Mamluks for second time. At first try Ottomans and France played almost perfectly and had 2500 dev and i didn't want to deal with them as i wasted too much time fighting 100k stable Ming

It is look like a harder way, because you don't destroy Burgundy early. There are a big chances that Burgundy will fall to Austria or another country.

@@lookasetbella if Austria gets burgundy, they just release the lowland countries as princes of HRE. You can easily just join HRE and expand to borders you want then form Netherlands and leave HRE. Definitely a harder start but not too bad

@@lookasetbella yeah it's random but it happens often enough, at least from my experience. But I understand not wanting to save scum or alt f4. I just think it offers a nice challenge and flavor for forming the Netherlands. Plus there's not many peasant republics to play so that's cool. The history of East Frisia and the HRE is cool :) the reason why they don't start in the HRE is because they weren't really feudal yet, but a small collection of tribes. Though that's not represented in the game at all other than not being apart of the HRE at game start.

The NL PU over Engeland is historically justified by an event the dutch call the Glorous Revolution. England remembers is as the time when parliament seized all power from the monarch and forced him to sign the constitution. Thing is, to do so, they asked the dutch to capture the king and march him into parliament to force him to sign the new law, and the dutch did. However while we had the king, we could have used the situation to force a PU instead.
