You have an interesting and entertaining concept there c23. However, your idea about San Diego State is well put it kindly uninformed. San Diego State had not had a losing season in 14 years prior to Last year. During that time they went to bowl games every year except for the covid year in 2020 and last 2023 . Of course many players left the program during the coaching change but overall they got as much or more in the portal as they lost. We have a brand new stadium, that stadium has brought they're overall gross income up to well over a hundred million dollars and probably will go up to 140 million in the near future. That of course means much more money to find the coaching Staff. In the past when The Aztecs put up an exciting offense they have Date averaged Between 40 and 50,000 people in attendance. During The Don Coryell years they outdrew the Chargers .Likewise during the Marshall Faulk years .The stadium only holds 35,000-40 but it will likely be increased to 45,000 within the next couple of years. The new head coach Sean Lewis has done an excellent job of recruiting California players in the portal As well as from Southern California high schools. I need to also remind you that San Diego State along with SMU was related to going to the Pac-12 before its sudden demise.
