A nice trick my uncle taught me to clean grease, rust and grime from any metal is degreaser (H-7) and gasoline. About 1/1 should be fine. Stir it up and grab gloves to scrub, works wonders.

That’s the perfect recipe for restoring aluminum. Fine glass beads for the sand blaster and Cerakote. Parts look brand new and will stay that way. Such a satisfying project

Devin , Let me tell you need a wetblaster cabin ( aqua blaster ) It is much faster to make the parts like new , and there it not the noise when the sandblaster cabin when using it

For aluminium parts vapor blasting is a good option

Consider stroking that K-Series to say 2.7-3.0 to pair with a supercharger or stay NA. Definitely different from many K-swaps.

I mean dry ice blasting is just a better method. I’m sure Devin will admit that after having to rebuild the motor in the evo twice because of the sand that ran through the pump and bearings.

@@damiendoisher7812 I didn't say that ice blasting is worse. The issue is that it's very expensive and not practical for everyone. You can DIY everything up to the point of sand blasting and a shop will charge your much less to bead blast. Or you can DIY that too if you want. but a ice blasting setup is not something I can get at harbor freight.

I am a big Honda fan, you are a hero and take good care of it, I love your choices, why a K24 instead of K20, I also heard the new K20C engine also fits in the NSX without adjusting the chassis, would the new Honda NSX V6 without the hybrid stuff fit into the 91 NSX, it would probably be difficult with the electronics, that thing sounds pretty good if it has a good exhaust, that would be crazy and cool?
