I’m not certain that this is why, but in case anyone is wondering why he filled it up with water first, I think it’s to displace any remaining flammable gases before he starts cutting it.

It is also believed that older bottles may have a residue that even after washing out with plain water is left, this residue is released when subject to the heat of a cutting torch- so it is a good idea to use to HOT soapy water.

It's not a petroleum container so it's not required if you have already Removed the valve.

Just came across this video a while back and just watched it again, i make BBQs and fire pits from gas bottles also mini stoves for campers and fishermen. And can honestly say that is one of the best i have ever seen yet, excellent job my friend.

Great job! Perhaps it’s worth making a hole for the finger in the cutting board to make it easier to get it out of the grill.

Дмитрий Снижко instead of a hole in the middle, make a small half moon on the edge to lift it out from there and keep the middle for cutting your meats. 👍👍👍

As the grill grid and the cutting board is supported on 3points you just have to push on one side and the whole thing pivots on 2points and you can easily grab the board.

My dad had something like that when I was a kid in the early 60s, he called it a habachi. Think I will make one now that you reminded me of it. And that tank has got to be lighter than the cast iron dad's habachi was made from.

Are you kidding me... I want one! will you build me one it's beautiful versatile and really amazing I would use it everyday. I don't have a stove. I'll pay you for it of course. That's truely a work of art!!! Bravo.. Actually after giving it some more thought oh, I know you won't build me one it defeats the purpose. That was a masterpiece though. Not bad. Hard but durable. I like. Change the screws for the upper wooden handle to more suitable. The door hinge has a backlash, maybe two are better? Hot slag will spill out through the air access hole - fire hazard. Make a small cutout on a wooden board at the edge for easy extraction.

First time i see you and this is so clever and love the design. I wish i could make myself one, but i love watching things being made. I must also add how relaxing it was to watch video the way you use your tools so skillfully and carecfully with nice music.
