I’m not certain that this is why, but in case anyone is wondering why he filled it up with water first, I think it’s to displace any remaining flammable gases before he starts cutting it.

It is also believed that older bottles may have a residue that even after washing out with plain water is left, this residue is released when subject to the heat of a cutting torch- so it is a good idea to use to HOT soapy water.

As the grill grid and the cutting board is supported on 3points you just have to push on one side and the whole thing pivots on 2points and you can easily grab the board.

My dad had something like that when I was a kid in the early 60s, he called it a habachi. Think I will make one now that you reminded me of it. And that tank has got to be lighter than the cast iron dad's habachi was made from.

Not bad. Hard but durable. I like. Change the screws for the upper wooden handle to more suitable. The door hinge has a backlash, maybe two are better? Hot slag will spill out through the air access hole - fire hazard. Make a small cutout on a wooden board at the edge for easy extraction.
