Nice jig indeed! Always nice to receive things that shows there's thoughts behind. Like those stainless nuts. When we're at it, it's important to explain why the zinkcoating must be removed before welding. Heating it up makes it toxic and you might get sick. Zinkpoison. If you do, drink cream. That helps! Cheers!

Top support for the headstock cone is a must, or do you want your headstock to twist sideways when you weld it? it is very easy, 2 x 8 mm side plates 400 mm long with 10 mm holes spaced 25 mm apart down the length of each side plate, Then drill a row of 10 mm holes on either side of the main upright again 25 mm apart and then make a duplicate cone carrier as you have for the bottom cone but drill a 10 mm hole drilled either side. It is then totally adjustable to whatever rake angle you want and when all bolted up Solid as a rock! , so before you cut the main upright for the headstock add an extra 300 mm to its length so this can be incorporated. or it will be too short to implement.
