Graphite powders work terribly on/in locks of all sorts and locksmiths will tell you to never use graphite in a lock. WD40 is much preferable.

I purchased this last year and tried to get some help as to why it was not working. They responded with me for a while and then stopped when I started to ask for a refund. I have continues to reach out to hem through all their available means but they have failed to respond. My last message was that I would start to leave negative review everywhere I found an opportunity due to their poor customer service and product. I encourage all who have had poor experiences with them or their products to do the same and protect other buyers from wasting their money on this defective product.

I've already bought that mirror but in another shape and I think I bought some more product but can't remember which, because I haven't had the time the last two years to do any of the modifications, and I am pretty happy about that because I had no idea that the Mo.Unit was so powerful. I've been planning to redo the complete electrical system on my Yamaha 1100 Dragstar Custom '99 for long time so now I really have a good reason for it.

Regarding buying WD40 in bulk, that way it is both cheaper and you don't get tricked by their shitty spray cans that claims that you get a certain amount free, when you actually most of the time, if not all, actually are paying more for it all! Also, when using a spray bottle like you do, you don't somehow end up with a spray can that has no gas left but has WD40 left in it. I also believe that WD40 in part is more flammable within a gas can, than in a plastic bottle. See it more as the gas can is a booster for setting of plastic explosive. My logic is, that partly the gas is flammable and the pressure needed to make it blow up is making it so much more dangerous. But the plastic bottle will not hold the pressure that would otherwise build up within a Aluminum can. I might be wrong, and I'm sure someone will correct me. I liked these experiments you did a lot. I'm a lot into building unique looking stuff, I want to bring back the more time consuming work behind stuff one produce instead of the sad reality of mass production that let many half done examples through. Have you looked into doing this with Aluminum (I don't know if you spell it like the yanks)? Before anyone tries to heat up Aluminum, remember that you can't heat up Aluminum too much because suddenly it's just vaporized. That last plate look more like anodized brushed Aluminum. I have never heard of the Brass trick, never would have thought that would work.

I agree wd40 makes things rust faster after using it. I live in a rust belt. 3 in 1 oil or fluid film with the sheep oil and ams oil grease.

I typically just rub them with a bit of paste wax, basically a less hardcore version of cosmoline. I have some fairly expensive pruning saws that I paste wax at the end of growing season every year & they've held up for about 6 years now with only minor rust around some of the teeth, which I could get off easily with a rust remover.

I know I'm late to the party, but I have an 85 XV700. Does this apply to that? The title of the video says 750, but you say 1000 in the video. I'm so confused now. Also, the case has the hole for that fork, but the cover doesn't have the spot that you show in the video at 6:02 in the video.
