So after 3 weeks of making roofs I finally am satisfied with the plug for the carbon fiber mold, its a long process to get a usable part but I thought that the best bet to have a single piece roof skin was to go composite.

First roof/mold, rightfully scrapped. Second roof/mold now done to fucking (possibly overkill) perfection. Man, I can't wait for the following announcement: ''Dodge has just fired Ralph Gilles and replaced him with an emerging KZbinr sensation named ''Junkyard Dave''. Mmmm. Actually, no so far stretched. You're equal parts: Car Designner, Engineer and Builder. Love your channel.

Perfection takes time and it's well worth getting this pattern perfect, because like you said, if it's not perfect, then the carbon fiber roof won't be perfect. This build must be really interesting, because I hadn't realised that you were up to part 34 already. I'm always keen to see the progress. Good idea to keep the third brake light and work out how to allow for a rear wiper. The brake light is a lot more important than the wiper, as it's a safety feature, whereas the rear wiper only serves to scratch the window. Looking forward to seeing the mould made. All the best from Queensland Australia.

Great watching 👀 your progress. In terms of the wing altering for wiper, why not try a shorter length wiper to accommodate the wing. I feel as though the wing should help keep more rain 🌧 off because of more robust size. Keep up the great work 👍

Awesome work Dave, ngl, this is a project which is fresh and new and takes a ton of work and time to get right. Thanks for sharing it with the automotive community. Make sure your clear coat is compatible with the gelcoat you're going to use fot the roof mold. Also I saw two nubbins before the c-pillar are they there to accomodate for the window trim from the rear passenger doors?

The part of the roof attached to your hatch will look strange if you keep it metal given the rest of the roof will be carbon. Hence, you should consider extending the carbon onto the hatch--at least the roof portion of that hatch.

You're going to the trouble of molding and shaping a Trackhawk wing to a Magnum rear deck. For the wiper, why not shape a relief into the bottom of the wing that corresponds to the arc of the wiper's travel? Can't be much wider than the arm, and probably not very deep. Doesn't even need to be shaped, just a squared cutout.

I Love this build !! One thing that bothers me though is the rear doors frame. In my opinion, it should be more squared off to match the rear quarter glass shape. Just thought I'd throw this out to you. Stand back and look at it and I think you might agree. Lot of work, but I feel it would be more pleasing to the eye. I am a designer by trade (over 45 years), so I know when something is off.
