This is one of the few teachers I've seen on KZbin who understands how the brain learns & remembers what you teach it. The only additional thing I'd add is that erasing an old habit with a new one takes time. The brain likes comfort and doing what its been doing. Students need to understand there is a learning curve for the brain to really lock in the new habit. Do it right often enough & the brain will latch onto the new habit. Thats why practicing everyday is essential for beginners.

Yes I have. In fact, the training for lyric tenors is really quite consistent with the way you would train any voice. You want to maximize the size, fullness and resonance of the voice, while at the same time, minimize any and all excess tension.
