Working on a Tivoli Extreem. Only just started on the trailer as a base. So far it’s 80 cm long. All Lego technic with working hydraulics and electric motors. Still a long way to go. Tough!

Nice model, I like it! One note: I would consider using slip-clutch gear instead of the regular 24-tooth in the acceleration wheel lifting mechanism. This would protect the engines from instant stop which can kill them at some point.

my only suggestion would be to springload the wheels up so that the timing of them being raised isn't problematic. put them in a position closer to the middle of the ship and it would be simpler too
@BuilditwithBricks6 ай бұрын
Hey, great comment! I considered doing loading the wheels but decided to stick to an older style of design with two wheels - plenty of examples out there that do this method. More modern swings use a single central wheel as you suggested! Thanks for watching!

I'm not an expert or engineer so I hope what I say makes sense , but, the pin at the top from where it suspends from could have some kind of mechanism that creates resistance (kind of like those toy cars that go across the ground after you give them a few pushes) it would slow the sway.

Just discovered this channel today and I love the videos. One of the parks near me had a ship ride like this but it was a yellow canoe and it only had one wheel instead of two. Their is another park near me where it is viking ship themed. I have no idea how many wheels that one uses since that one is more covered up than the canoe one was. I'll have to see if I can find out if it's two wheels or just one as well. I love the build you did here. Very nice. If you ever do it again it would cool if you taped a mini fig to the front of the boat like how the pirate ships have those art pieces on the front of the ship.

OMG! I remember going on one of these rides, I think it was the first time it had been to our town's local fair.... My mum, sister and me went on it, we sat as close to the centre as we could. And OMG did we feel awful when it stoped and we got off the thung, my sister was green in the face and shaking mike mad. Needless to say, we have never been on it again!
