2024 marks 3 years of building cabins on our 100 acres in Southeastern Kentucky. In that time, we have finished two cabins and made significant progress of cabin number three. We've learned a lot along the way. Let's talk about it...

On this channel I make weekly videos documenting the build of my rustic mountain rental cabins. When not on a build trip I make videos building and preparing for the trips as well property maintenance, firewood and my outdoor wood boiler.

Good vid. Quite an experience going to a new place. People are generally friendly and willing to help-share knowledge. We all have family up north or have worked, lived there as well. Most are straight up and ecpect the same without issue. A lot of good hard working people to draw from. We are used to getting by and doing for ourselves. In time you will learn and meet a lot more. This is a pretty good retirement staye as pensions aren't taxed. We have plenty of taxes already. Not as crazy as some places. So it looks like things are moving along well fir you. Thst,'s a large tourist area. Miquels Pizza is world famous at Natural Bridge St Pk. Rental lots for sitting camper trailers on year around is an idea to consider. That tax free retirement location comes into play. A custodian of the property may come in handy and generate some revenue. Watch out for copperheads. Dog days are comming and the females are ready to have their babies. You whack one if it's thick cut it open. Generally 15 to 20 babies inside. Just don't step or put a hand where you can't see in the strike zone. Take care. Hot and dry now. Next time
