I was really impressed by Samara's acting skills. She can play frightened, frustrated, angry but also has great comedic timing. Plus she looks like a mix between Emma Stone and Margot Robbie. I expect a huge career for her.

I saw this last night after getting the Blu-ray and I went in with high expectations which ended up being met ... and exceeded! :) What a really fun time. I loved the perfect mixture of humor and tension and action. And that ending was just a total blast!

The host is bizarre. Her comment about rich people. Everyone was dead quiet when she that. They were likely thinking what the fuck. The lead actress in the film was surprisingly incredible. Most lead actors in genre horror films aren’t that great, but she was. She kind of reminded me of Margot Robbie at times. Great seeing Adrien Brody and Andie MacDowell were the biggest names in this film.

The ending was probably part of what made me like this movie so much. The loser faces punishment. It might be a bit abrupt and ridiculous in its execution, but the movie is kind of set up that way. To me, it wasn't overly cliche and very satisfying. Great action and gore, good humor, but still manages to be tragic. Overall, I'd say the movie is a ringer. Or if not a ringer, well-rounded is probably a more fitting phrase.
