As a Traditional witch working within the Sabbatic current, I haven’t made up my mind yet whether or not this it is intentional, but I feel personally that this film is a love letter to folklore and Traditional Witchcraft.

I have watched the film a couple of times, and though the director mentions that Sophia has amazing "movie eyes", I don't recall a single shot in that movie where you could really tell - plus the general lighting for the film is quite dark. In her role as Nancy Drew however, there are many many shots where you see how amazing her eyes are to the camera.

I loved The blackcoat's daughter. Gretel and Hansel was ok, but the interview was very interesting. Seeing the difference between big studio and independent. I think Ozgood will still do great films.
