The best apology is changed behavior. Good on you, Sloss 👏🏻

I adore his comments about accidently offending people. He'll recognize your point, fix what wasn't an intentional offense but he's not going to apologize because we should be adults and discuss how something may offend someone without resorting to stupid cancel culture.
@watermelonsloth69474 жыл бұрын
I have the same idea but could never articulate as well as him. I want cancel culture cancelled. He is fantastic and I love how he makes people think.

I love that he exists as a comedian. He doesn't take the easy way out, he's not a people pleaser, yet he refuses to be shocking for shocking's sake. I'm a massive comedy nerd, but there are so many male comedians I feel conflicted about, because they truly do not care to take into consideration what a female perspective on their material would look like. Daniel is just as out there, but he does the extra work. He's just a smart joke-writer.

I've been watching his stuff since he was 19 and it's awesome seeing him develop, because I honestly believe that in another 5 years he'll be known as one of the greats.

I think he's almost right on the apology front. I don't think a person who wants an apology is necessarily wanting revenge, just acknowledgement that you hurt them. If you accidentally hit someone with your car, I don't think you would refuse to apologize just because you didn't intend to hit them. You would still apologize--and yes, recognizing that you did something wrong and promising to do better is the most important part... but you should still apologize that you caused someone pain. If you accidentally hurt someone and you say, "well, I see now that what I did was wrong, but I'm not sorry that I hurt you," that seems to be missing the mark a bit.
@_HuffleProud_4 жыл бұрын
This is how I feel too, I just didn’t know how to articulate it. Changing your behavior and understanding how your words or actions hurt someone is absolutely great, and you probably shouldn’t have to feel really bad about accidentally hurting someone, but you still should acknowledge to them that you hurt them, which “I’m sorry” does well, though it is not enough alone.

I took a look at his schedule and HOLY SHIT he works his ass off. He hardly takes a day off and is bouncing all over Europe! You have to take a look. No wonder why he talks so damn fast. No USA listed though :( I love what he said about being alone. People do think it's strange or weird, that's OK though. just don't beat me for it. I love his confidence too. And his mouth, nose, ears, hair, body, those fuck'n EYES and LIPS, I haven't had a crush on a star since I was in my early 20's. DAMN! I just want a taste him. Him and Daniel Tosh......A SlossenTosh......And Mikkie B. I've gotta get out more :P

when one can say such a delirious sentence blaming someone else to why their partner has left them, you sort of already see why they left...''she didn't break up with you bc of me, she broke up with you bc of you!'' crazy & not very bright are desperate to tie down a partner, they know their chances of survival alone if they don't. it's more than a relationship, it's the only way of a survival, but then those ppl way too often than you'd like are sooo annoying to be with, you start assuming their death to leave. hard when one's character needs relationship for a survival but then it's what kills them.

Are either 'Now' or 'X' going to become Netflix specials?
@TommyNicoletti5 жыл бұрын

I have been single for 98% of my life. Couples don't bother me at all and the best way to avoid people on Twatter, Dumblr or Instaspam bothering you is to stay away from these sites. That's easy, at least it is for me.
