Well it is 100% on its way back and it’s just around the corner. I have no intention of stopping my review show though, I feel exponentially more productive and creative when I look at the finished product after weeks and weeks of work.

Been playing Destiny 2 for a hot minute and Destiny since the beta. Now I'm burnt out myself and need to take a break from Destiny to actually get something done in real life, which comes first no matter what. Have really enjoyed your channel and totally understand why you had to take a break. Can't wait to see you back next season. Take care man!

I am also on a hiatus from destiny. I’ve been playing FFXIV. It’s been great. I tried playing XIV like I did destiny about 6 months ago - trying to optimize and min max and rush and ultimately stopped playing from fatigue. No I’m taking my time and the game is SOOOO much better. Take all the time you need and then some. Don’t ever apologize!

I was super big into XIV a very long time ago but then I started raiding and then I suddenly didn’t have a job anymore so let’s just say I decided playing wasn’t a good idea for me lolol

@@JBshreds Im trying to not to get sucked in like I did destiny but it’s so hard 😭 The same thing happened with war frame for me. I started and one day realized I hadn’t gone to work for two weeks and so I deleted the game.

if you don't think destiny is the best for your mental health, it's ok to take a break. Destiny does have some moments where it brings the pain of a thousand commit listen to dream's mask music video for 12 hours on loop (Looking at the toxicity on twitter and elsewhere), so it's ok to take a step back. But, if you still want to do destiny content, I would recommend something like what SenzaTV does and create a "can you beat (insert destiny game mode here) with/out (some sort of modifier)?" sort of video. I don't know what else to say here, so wish you the best JB. (Btw I was spider, giver of choccy milk/The confused, i just changed everything cause of bad memories and I wanted to stray away from those). I'll stick with your content and I still will

Bungie hasn't been doing fun shit with destiny in a long ass time no worries if we're being honest most of us are burned out , I can't be fuckin bothered to do solstice at all it's just shit tier recycled content centered around cosmetic purchases .

I definitely needed a break, that's a fact. Really what it came down to was that I lacked the confidence in my work to compete with other creators I admire, like Aztec or Datto or Fallout. I hit a bit of an unlucky streak with my views and had some private issues happening at home at the same time and it just kind of snowballed. I will say though, taking a step back and reanalyzing _why_ I do this to begin with and why I constantly found myself coming back to both Destiny and youtube may have been one of the best and healthiest decisions I have ever made because when I came back, I wasn't chasing views. I wanted to entertain. Now that my head is cleared up a bit, I feel exponentially better and the confidence and fulfillment in what I do is infinitely higher.
