I find myself going back to void on each character even after all the 3.0 reworks. The only solar build I play is on my Titan with Lorely and even that’s rare because my void boom punch build just works. Hunter invis is so good (if they ever fix Gyrfalcons) and warlock is king of void! Void is the best 3.0 rework by far.

Void is the elemental king. Mostly for the Warlocks, Solar is still arguably the best for your Hunters but right now Titans are really able to define themselves with Arc. I’m loving all three of the elemental reworks. Void will always be my favorite though, I’m a Nightstalker at heart.

Nezarecs Sin + Graviton Lance never left my Warlock side back in the day, Graviton Lance was my first Exotic weapon to drop in D2, it's a freakin ace weapon 😍

This build is insane if you pair it with funnel web instead and use your exotic for DPS with gjally or use it with witherhoard, and instead of echo of expulsion you can run echo of provision for extra melee ability regen, having your abilities up constantly is so much fun with this build. Apart from the exotic and 1 fragment change this is a top tier PvE build, thank you for sharing!

I was using that at first actually. I ended up swapping it out for more boom booms. I toyed around with a lot of different exotics and mods/fragment combos and such, trying to find what “felt” the best to me if you will. That’s a really good combo too! Funnelweb is a top tier SMG and one of these days I’m going to get around to finishing up that miserable Witherhoard quest. One day. Not today, but one day.

I honestly really love what theyve done with the void classes because they each focus on their own effect, warlock is devour, titan is overshield and hunter is invisibility it feels like the most complete subclass unlike arc which feels like something is missing

It emphasizes that each class is different because they have different speciality the reason the traveler made 3 classes one on offense, one on stealth, and one on defense the rest of the subclass just makes everything accessible to all the classes which such ease it isn't that special

Being a warplock main, this build perfectly compliments my fantasy of teleporting behind the enemy as now instead of simply standing behind them menacingly, I can explode behind them too. Menacingly ofcourse.

I used to use a variant loadout in GM's on a weekly basis before Void 3.0 and the elemental reworks were a thing. In a nutshell, this isn't really any different than the good ol' slovabomb/devour build that was extremely viable back in Shadowkeep and Forsaken. A skilled player can definitely utilize it to its fullest!

Like I mentioned, per scenario, Destiny requires the player to flex and build around modifiers and mutators of the activity. As a result builds are can be tweaked slightly to fit the encounter/instance. This loadout specifically would be better for unstoppables/barriers given you can combo unstop pulse and barrier sniper. You could always chance it and play double primary with a primary bow and rely on your heavy/abilities for champions but that’s the skill play, sometimes it works and sometimes it fails miserably. Everything depends on shields and champs. Every build has limitations that accommodate its gimmick or niche! Fireteams I play with tend to coordinate abilities/mods and weapons/elements. If I can only cover A and B, I always have a friend to cover C and D.

Inuse void finisher with this along with the charge of light overshielf mod so I can use it as panic save and trigger ability regen at the same time.
