Is blasting rock for commercial projects common where you live/work? If so, what type of projects?

Yep, here in Norway we blast a lot. For roads, houses, ditches etc. But we also have a lot of projects that doesnt require it, all depends on the place and how deep customers pockets are. I personally operate a Cat 326F with an Excadrill drilling application. Awesome video btw, that bulk anfo truck looks handy

Yes I’m working on one currently here in kentucky. A new warehouse pad. Our shot is pretty much what you see here. I have about 4 ft in some spots of boulders to pick through before I get to the good shot rock. The issue we had was above the main layer of rock was about 2 ft of dirt then another 2 ft or so of rock. That layer of dirt absorbed most of the blow all the top layer did was break in to massive boulders.

Love your enthusiasm. When you ramp up the energy when you talk, it makes your presentation more exciting, professional and less casual. I am an old retired guy who loves your channel so I hope you take my input as constructive, not critical. Your passion for the industry doesn’t always come across when you are so laid back. Your enthusiasm for many of the companies come across loud and clear. Keep it up! I have always been enamored with big equipment. I hope your business keeps growing and benefitting the industry.

thank you very much for the feedback Bill. I'm working on getting better at presenting! I'm pretty chill so I need to hype things up a bit more because I'm stupidly excited on the inside

Super excited to finally see a video covering drilling and blasting! I’m in my first internship while getting my degree in Construction Management, working for a drilling and blasting company. It’s been a great experience so far, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to go! Great content!! Funny enough, I “met” my now boss through one of your posts, where I had asked for advice on how to enter the dirt world! So, I guess, a huge thank you for that!

6:30 Where I live, we absolutely love those massive boulders. They are great for retaining walls, and given just how hilly the city is, we need a lot of them. Its cheaper than concrete and it looks better. Heavy boulders don't move anywhere near as much as your average block wall that just falls over after a decade. We've got a lot of clay, so small light concrete blocks just aren't up to the job.

Something I think you should do some videos on that has some over lap with your world would be checking out logging sites and logging road building on the west coast I think it would open up a new demographic for you to get your message to people. There’s lots of loggers at retirement age and they are feeling the employment crisis as well.

That mixture is common with blasting rock. Ammonia nitrate agent gives low pressure, high heat which is good for "cutting" rock without having to repair neighboring roofs

@@AaronWitt oh no way! Well I won't bother to try and get insider information as to were your filming BUT! If your close to Nelson BC and looking for a local young operators opinions on anything would love to connect and share the struggles and benefits to being in the trades of equipment and earthmoving. I have my own excavation company and am well versed in the local area!

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 8:58 I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. All who call upon the name of the lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8 Romans :10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. The rapture is imminent!!
