Evos are such dope cars man, its a shame to see how the brand has ignored their sedan fans true legends

First thing to check on a Evo is RUST,rear chassis rails, and mounting points, don't worry about running gear that's easy to fix...

Fuck ya im dealing with my evo 4 restoration man the rust is a nightmare .. running is just 5% compared to bare metal underbody restoration in evos

Peak JDM mid 90s car. They will never make cars like this again, the golden era of JDM cars.

I have been building my evo 4 for four years now and i have to say rust is their biggest problem (every old gen evo btw).Mine is a track only built car and i had to do a LOT of rust repair, prep and stuff but it will never be not contaminated from inside the chassis. Built a complete engine and drivetrain around it but yeah it's one of 333 palma red evo 4's ever built so i won't give the chassis away. I'ts just passion and no one can take that away from me. Love the video vtw great work😍

And as I comment pretty often, YOUR CHANNEL STAYS UNDERRATED TO THE MAX it’s sad to see. Been a follower since the high horsepower 7M MK3 Supra and been a top 3 car channel for me ever since. Keep up the great work Marcus and crew ❤ Much love from the mountains of California

Short gearing and stock turbo, thing is insta-boost after every up shift gotta love it! That’s one thing I always preferred about a good NA engine (after owning a 2004 WRX) is the instantaneous throttle response and the immediate push when going WOT after shifting up. Now, most of my experience is with an AP1 S2k and NA6 Miata with lightweight crank pulley so idk if they’re all that amazing but yeah 😅

I don't know about built , but any car can be daily driven . I drove a Gen 4 Camaro year-round for 6 years . But then I also live in the same part of Canada as you . And that's probably the only place where you could drive a sports car year round .

Haha good choice on the color for brake calipers and valve cover. Literately rocking the exact same color on my 8 I actually ended up passing on an Evo 4 not wanting to deal with crank walk issues. Almost bought a 5 but it had 130k miles on it and was almost 35k. Paid 36k for my current Evo 8. Crazy to think I got my 2014 Evo X with 15k miles on it when I bought it for 30k lol but this was 7 years ago or so

Great car. Cool video. Cool owner. But just curious. With such conservative power and torque levels, isn't a stage 3 clutch overkill?
