Built to Plow! A "Clumsy" Pre-30 Farm Tractor. The RARE 1916 Rumely Ideal Pull!

In October 2023 we lost a great friend and classic tractor collector. Steve Vander Ziel of Michigan was taken unexpectedly at the age of just 61. A loving father and grandfather, those who knew Steve know he was a skilled and knowledgeable collector who loved John Deere and Pre-30 tractors. Here we look back to our visit with Steve at the big Rumely Roundup at Rollag, Minnesota in September of 2022. Thank you Steve -- for sharing your knowledge and passion for agricultural history!

We met Steve for the first time at this show and we were privileged to have known him for a short time and to even have a chance to see his collection of tractors. He will be missed.

My grandfather had a Rumley Do All which my dad remembered running quite a bit when he was still at home. We found one at Harold Warps pioneer village and I took a picture of him standing next to it.
