I met Doug at a random gas station in Santa Clara California... We were standing in line and I knew it was him.... I was like "Doug?" And he was like "yes?" Hahahah he was just as chill and kind as you can imagine. He let me on the van to say hi to the rest of the guys as I proceeded to fan boy like crazy.... I'm not usually star struck.... But for Doug. I had to thank him for all the music he has made to soundtrack my younger years and good vibes today...... Thank you again Doug!!!!!

I always have a difficult time watching these episodes because almost always the artists turn me on to music that's so great that I have to frequently pause the episode so that I can search for and listen to their picks in full. So a 12 minute video, like this one, ends up taking over an hour to get through!* *This is not a complaint, by the way.

Also, just recently got to see you again in Charlotte at the The Underground. I hope that you guys had a decent time even though nobody would fucking dance. Couldn't help but imagine how god damn depressing it must be, to travel the country and go to places like Charlotte, where people insist on standing there like zombies. Like. If people want to be awkward and pretend like they aren't even there, it would be much more considerate to make space for people who actually do want to dance? And not scowl at the people who are trying to have a good time. Just a thought. Please keep coming back. I will see you every time.
