I live in DFW. Im not originally from here but ive lived here a while. Ive found that the dating scene is difficult here. The men seem to move way too fast. They arent interested in getting to know me. They want to have a place in my life they haven't earned. They dont understand friendships take time and effort. Most of all, it takes consistency.. what do i know? Maybe im too old school. Best of luck to you.

When it comes to black men, if you aren't fitting a stark stereotype ( i.e super thug, tall and athletic, high status celebrity type) then you might as well forget it.
