Seen Project Binky by Bad Obsession Motorsport? They professionally make a vid look as though it is made by a couple of knock about blokes. Started in 2014 still unfinished. Subject of many jokes all over KZbin. Many channels on YT have Bad Obsession Motorsport mugs in the background. Binky is legendary.

ever since I saw the ad for the GT40 on the Super Bowl in 2007 I think, I wanted one. They were almost affordable at 125k now you cant touch them...the kit is now the way to go!

G'day Dan, great vid. If you want particular coloured wheels you could always ask the local spray painter, I've done this in the past. Take a sample rim and your photo in and have a chat, can't hurt. My dad had a saying " you don't take a sick horse to a plumber." Hope this helps. Love your work.

It sure is different Bob. I chose this kit for the modern take on chassis and suspension setup, but still keeping with the classic body styling. Best of both worlds/eras in my opinion. But I know it won't appeal to everyone.

You watching over phone, are you? Sound is fine but way of from great. Left right channel is getting louder and lower also details and distortion noise are there. Iam not mad at you to say it isnt great but fine because iam only using studio headphones, so..... Have a nice one =)

Yeah sound still has a ways to go. I'm listening on my phone and really struggling with the L/R changes and drop outs. Kudos to Dan for addressing the issue. Hopefully he can even out the sound as he gets more experience with the tech.

I’d say the mic is a success. That’s a great kit, very complete. Steering is on the wrong side but it is the way they came originally. They should’ve made a billet cap for the overflow tho. I like the way they packaged the nuts and bolts. Glad it’s a Ford in a Ford. Little Sh*t engine in these are just wrong. Definitely want a quick release. Along with getting in and out easier, you could use a vintage wheel for around town and pop on a better wheel for track days.

Dan looking good. There a few builders on KZbin that I am watching. Here are today’s question. 1. Is there any luggage storage available? 2. How many hours, weeks, or months do you anticipate the build taking? 3. How or where did you get the skill sets to build this super car? 4. Are you thinking of installing and automatic fire suppression system? Not a question but you might think about having the part of the wheel you wanted orange, powder coated. Great Video thanks

Just started researching building one of these or a FFR Type 65 and ran across your video. Thanks for taking the time to do it. My biggest concern is if this is beyond my skill set. Just caught up, it looks like a great build. A small tip, will help if you have more lighting in the garage as a single light casts too many deep shadows. I went from 3 strip lights down the middle of my garage to 3 rows of 3 units covering the whole garage.

If there is a particular kit that you are interested in, have a chat to the manufacturer/importer, they may be able to answer a lot of your questions or refer you to a local engineer who can. Check is you can set the audio recording level to manual, not auto gain control. Also check if you can record in mono audio not stereo, this might be what's causing the weird fluctuating audio sound.
