I found this video by chance, driven by my reawakened passion for Bujin these days, and it's really a great video, congratulations! Hopefully we'll get some new cards soon, it would be criminal if they didn't make more supports for this archetype during the 20th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX in the 2024 (still surprised they didn't at least give him a new Xyz in 2021)

Honestly I've been trying tri-brigrade and arasuda is actually great because no matter what kind of bunin you banish with the tri-brigade effect it's a free plus 1 if they're in your hand. Just until the new support comes out. And I find it fun to search hikiro with susanowo if I have one in my hand, then go into amatarsu activate and get another plus one then go back into susanowo with the other hikiro then use its effect again to search twice. Idk im still working out kinks and money's a lil bit of an issue but I really wanna bump this deck up. I have faith damn it and I've had faith for 6 years!

I like budjins cause they pretty easy to operate. Also still allow you to play a lot of stupid cards and have some fun (at the cost of your opponent sanity). One of the funnier card to use was Yaminabe Party. It was even ok, especially with Susanowo.

6:37 I happen to own TWO bujingi Wolfs. Furthermore, I edited my original bujin deck to include only the very necessary spell cards and pad out the deck with some punishing traps. Problem solved! I applied the same for Warg

Furthermore, carefully adding light attribute monsters and light based spells and traps such as Lightray Diabolos and the Solar Ray trap card along with Light Attribute XYZ monsters (in my case, Utopia and Utopia Ray) and all of a sudden, the deck (while now not FULLY Bujin) is now a whole lot harder to beat. I have used the Bujin archetype for a long time and i've had some good results with them and I have formed quite the attachment.

I personally disagree with the analysis that Torifune is Honest Neos - not only do Bujins largely skew to earlier seasons (though I admit this is inconsistent with me thinking Mahitotsu is specifically modelled after the Rainbow Dragon scene) but a planet Torifune is flying away from is visible in the background of their artwork, which to me indicates that it's Neos flying into space to punch the satellite. This could also mean the yellow colour represents Tyranno going up there with him since the colours usually align with the character's house.

Unfortunately, I think Bujin's problems were beyond what Calamities was causing. The deck want's to play this very 'protect the castle' style build, but it's defense tools just don't stack up to the modern meta.
