This is the Misha Mansoor especially all the early fans love.. The one teaching us all how to do this sh*t! 💩 This has really taken you beyond the popularity you deserved by just being as good as you are with Periphery. Those who hide secrets are the ones show they threatened. Your openness is greatly appreciated by your fans! Educator, riff slayer, and overall bad a$$. 👍🏻👍🏻

Awesome vid, thank you Misha! I've tried to put all the same settings as you are (except for the master bus), used all the same plugins, but the sound is still not the same. Hey Misha, I was trying out the group channels for my snares, toms, and rooms and whenever I activate the sends it gets significantly louder. Is there a way to have my group tracks play the sent channels without adding volume?
@AdrianLvX Жыл бұрын
Basically this is how the sends work, it always plays back a 1:1 version of what you're sending. You have to use a plug or something with a "wet" mix and set it 100% so you only get the wet signal to blend with the original dry one.

So does it work for real drums? I get using midi drums for writing, but for example. When my band gets ready to record, midi drums get thrown out the window (no sample replacement or reinforcements used what so ever) and my drummer writes what he wants to write for drums.
@MishaMansoor5 жыл бұрын
Tyler Rosal Of course! Nolly did some videos showcasing that side, so I figured I would show how to get a mix going with programmed drums so we have both sides covered for smash and grab!

@meesha Hey man, I'm just trying to grab your attention and see which of your drum programming vids you think offers the most comprehensive advice on the nuances of programming, but from the technical side. I'm sure others will weigh in here. I'm just looking for that natural nuance programming skill and how best to create that feel on most any plugin, meaning things like rolls etc. Anything you have out there (or anyone can suggest) so that I don't get that lame-ass machine gun/phasing BS in my snare rolls, and some super quick ways to ghost note. Much obliged, Meesha & fellow music community!
