Yes we paid £500 in UK, the apartment in the season is a couple of pounds a month. There are no standing charges on utilities here it makes a big difference. The apartment just heated up in 10 minutes as I was down there to upload the video as internet is very fast in the resort

I been to Sunny Beach and Golden Sands on holiday with my parents, I preferred Golden Sands, the hotel/apartments we stayed in Sunny Beach was not as a good.

The hotels vary a lot, obviously they cater to different nationalities, some the food does not appeal to us. Golden sands is similar but smaller of course.

Probably why so many still smoke here or they would be upset and show it if big taxes were put on making it unaffordable There is a tobacco factory in Plovdiv and they grow it here as well. The government work to keep utilities and essentials reasonable here unlike the uk where they seem to encourage greed and huge profits in what people have no choice but to buy. We pay £19 a year council tax on our house here, get bins collected 3 times a week, streets swept and street lighting all night in our village.

Susan is taking the bus from the Sunny Beach bus station, takes about 7 hours.
