Here we go again with the people dem weh build their house in the river bed and complain say gov nah prevent dem from flood out. Mi never see anyone who build on hills and away from the path of the river complain. If you want light and water you have to pay for it. From when Portia was in power jamaica had an explosion of water drums on top of houses. In part because the pipe inferstructure was obsolete and in part, because they want people to pay for the water. Everybody bore the main pipe line (seen by the many white pipes in this video) and very Fer people want to pay for the water. We see them putting in new pipes with the new roads (those pipes arent cheap at all) and they aren't going to allow us to go back to the old days of people not paying for water. It costs money to put in the infrastructure and to pump the water and maintain the system.

Everyone like mention cherry gardens, etc., those places have bad roads too. They cannot neglect their water bills and then deman the gov provide free water. They have pieces of furniture to dispose of, they have pay from someone to do it.

@@valencia9981 I heard one of them say manley was the greatest leader, because that is who put all this free essay in their head and let them think that anything gov has control over should be free. Ask these same people how much they paid in income taxes last year they ask you what is called income taxes? When everyone get it all for free, when time come to fix and upgrade the system everyone stare at each other not knowing where the money is to come from to fix stuff. A bunch of white pipes in this video going up the gully to houses and no water meter on them. They bore the pipes.

This seems to be TWO DIFFERENT ISSUES. Not sure what the Highway has to do with this. Yes, their infrastructure needs fixing/attention, but how is that linked to the Highway ? If they are saying Business is now slow because persons are NOT driving through, they are taking the Highway, then that's a different story. However, we asked for development; unfortunately with same, there will be pros and cons.

People people govt can’t be everywhere to fix every road when you scream! Suddenly all these roads need fixing? Within eight years you think a third world country govt should fix all roads? Weh dem fi get the money from? So what the previous govt did? Everyone wants everything done now this no happen no other place on earth… the ignorance of a few makes many look stupid…

@jayham9529 When those elected to serve at the local level are not fulfilling their elected duties, then it's time to escalate the problem. The PM himself alluded to the fact that some elected representatives are not fulfilling their mandate, and when this is not being done, citizens should use available formats to get the information to him. That's what the citizens are doing. It's now for the PM to reach out to the elected representatives to remind them/have them carrying out their elected duties.

Over a year and a half ago clarity broadcast that he heard that the money to complete the highway from kingston to portland was finished. This was before they started the leg from prospect to portland. Propoganda is active.

@@RusikaReece-e6m out deh suh annuh nuh weh nice fi live. It has always been dry out that way. Alot of cactus used to grow out that side. I would not buy property anywhere out there, not even the posh stuff over by Suncoast because of how dry that area has been historically. Always dusty and dry out there. If you look you will notice up on the hills don't have any big trees. Dry.
