​@@Talisman09 The animal is meant to jump and land on its entire four feet, it jumped and landed with its front feet and took the brunt of the fall meant to land on its back legs, onto its spine. Under that sudden increase of pressure, and so much, the spine would snap.

You can see his it is incontinent and pees itself immediately which means all control of the back half is gone because the connection was severed. It would be in far more pain if it broke it's legs. The fact that it just sits there means it probably went numb immediately and can no longer even feel anything in the back half.

This is very sad, but I believe it's trauma to the spine and not broken back legs. The back legs are never used, they wouldn't just snap. It appears to have injured it's lower spine after jumping and immediately became paraplegic.

Normal dairy cows have it a lot worse than these bulls who up until this point lives a longer and way better life then those on a non organic farm. But people don't complain about that so much, because "we" like our cheep milk and our cheep beef in the supermarket. It also helps when you don't see it as much as you do with this once in a year event in Spanish tredition. Compare that to the hellish daily life of dairy cows. But: "Out of sight, out of mind." As they say. If people really want to take animal cruelty seriously, they should be willing to eat less meat, and pay a lot for for dairy products. We need to focus on the real problem. The millions and millions of non organic dairy cows locked in a crowded place, only able to eat and sleep. I'm not saying you are one of those hypocrites. I'm sure you are a nice guy. But until we do something to stop that abow, I can't take people complaining about the Spanish traditions seriously. It is so insignificant in comparison.

You'll never see something as sinisterly intense, real and "beautiful" as a fight to the death between man and beast. 3º In Spain there exists a constitutional respect for region's sovereignty. This means that no matter that 70-90% of the population dislikes things bullfighting, you have no right to tell the people of a region what is ethically good or bad (outside human rights and the constitution of course).
