My husband has been waiting patiently to be able to watch the bull day video. After finding out from his cousin Derek Chase, that he was buying a couple bulls from you. I was in MO years ago as a kid helping out friends on the local farms who were needin help. One day I saw the process of collecting semen. I heard the bull holler and asked what was the problem and was told it was the bolt of lightening that made them produce the semen. When the Vet left, i saw 17 bulls follow him home. : ) PS I tried the Stroopwafels. I am now addicted to them. Thanks. Alot! I got no brains...I am diabetic. O well. I will limit them to maybe 2 per day. Manoman...deelicious.

@@gerryoconnor8751 That's a lotta bull about 17 of them following the Vet home. But True about workin the farm. I watched the milk cows being artificially inseminated with the bull serum, and actually saw the vet take the serum from the bull. I saw baby bulls become steers and I learned to milk 043. She was harder to milk than a kitchen faucet. Other jobs were available thru the summers. I'll post them later if there is an opportunity to blend in with the surroundings.

At the moment I'm lucky to sell 5 registered bulls per year. I only have 16 registered cows 2 bulls in storage tanks and 1 bull pin up incase some doesn't take an embyro. I really love genetics. To me it means everything. Your able to have an idea what your replacement heifers will do or even dodge pulling calfs. Or my case 1 cow has had 3 calves so far. Each a boy. One of her sons I have and calf total now in this group is 13 steers, 4 heifers. I only want 50 registered cows but I'd like my kids to have 200 registered cattle. My boss has a registered bull sell. Last fall they had a bull sell for 23 thousand dollars. I saw some studs in your pins

Well the Big Day is finally here. Brian and Apprentice ! You both should be extremely proud of the quality and width of these Young Studs , which remember are only yearlings 😲! The first pen tested had some width on their tops and one I noted especially was extraordinarily long. My moment of the the day , and takes a whole new meaning to the word ' TOSSED' was when the Semen sampler ( man beside crate ) threw up the semen sample to the Vet type person checking semen mobility, fertilty and quality !. Excellent informative video and think this subject should be shown to urban schools to educate the young how their food is made. ie it is natural and doesn't just appear in a store without one hell of a work and toil being done. At about a year they can do their thing. Heifer bulls are for smaller calves so young cows have an easier time calving
