Several years ago I was deployed and was watching their videos. I emailed them and told them how much I enjoyed their genuine brotherhood. They asked for my address and a few weeks later a bunch of DVDs some swag and a personal letter. It really meant the world to me. Now I’m retired in Florida and hope to travel to elk hunt next season.

posting a september 11th hunting video on veterans day is very cool. As a vet of Iraq, march 2004-2005, I want to say thank you for your appreciation. A lot of people say "thanks for your service" especially on days like today and we appreciate it. The difference with a lot of them and your group is I can feel the sincerity when you guys say it. Thank you guys. #neverforget

Absolute great hunt. Steve nailed it. It’s not about score it’s about the memories shared. My father has mental illness and life is winding down pretty fast. However in the mountains he is the giant that I look up to. Hunting will always be my safe place with family a good friends. As a military veteran I want to say THANK YOU. The ending to this video shows us people are still out there that appreciate and it was not for nothing. Now a days it is hard to see that. Thank you born and raised crew. Mighty fine. This veteran, appreciates your thoughtful words too. Been watching you boys all these years. God Willing...twenty more. The Good Lord, gave me the moment, too watch this video. The morning after, 2021 Veterans Day. And reminded me, of all those 5am mornings. Preparing for formation, etc. Yah man...FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. Many more SHOULD savvy. Even if you served...or haven't. Many thanks... for getting this type of video content out. Hello America. TIME TO GET TOGETHER. God, Country, Family, and Friends. Give thanks...patch the old flag, hugs, and hand shakes. Works for me. And a note, for the Born and Raised Outdoors team. I'm proud of you. May the GOOD LORD, help continue doing, what you do. I may have to break down...and purchase another T-shirt. Oh, and feelings...remember telling Santa, what you wanted for Christmas. Why must I have to tell the wife now a days? Now carry on. Later man. TP

Congratulations BRO team! I felt this same sense of awe and appreciation this year on 9/11. I also had been applying for a VERY long time and my 21 year wait was rewarded with my hunt which began on 9/11/21. I woke that opening morning, prayed to Heavenly Father giving thanks for my freedoms provided by so many before. Thanked him for the safety of my own son serving in the military and at drill that weekend, then went hunting. Like Cody said, I too wish my hunt would have lasted longer, but I couldn't pass on the very large bull I took at 8:17 AM MST on 9/11/21. Love watching your show. Love how much fun you have, the respect you have for the animals, for each other, our country and our God. Keep up the great work.

BROs. I was blessed this fall. 9/11/23 I harvest my very first bull. My first time ever elk hunting. Surrounded by brothers. A DIY public land bow hunt. And a remembrance 6x7 bull hit the ground. Blessed is an understatement. This hunt brings me back to that moment. I’ve been watching the videos for a long time and you all inspired me to get out there and do what was uncomfortable. To chase a dream. Forever thankful. Cheers bros!

First, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Both of you! What incredible bulls, and LOTS of (in my opinion) the best meat in the world! And to call him back AFTER he had already been hit once... I'm at a loss for words on that one. You must be the Pied Piper of elk! The tribute to 9/11 was a touching addition and a fitting close to the video. And how serendipitous that you would both tag out with such magnificent animals on the anniversary of such a dark day in our history and bring some light and happiness to it. God bless our military, and God bless the fallen - both military and civilian that have paid the price for our freedom. Keep doing what you're doing, guys. I was, unfortunately, unable to take advantage the majority of elk seasons in my life, though the few I was able to enjoy left me with a wealth of great memories. Now my health is not conducive to the rigors of an elk hunt, and I miss deer/elk camp so very much. However, between you and Hushin', I get to live vicariously through your videos and all the adventures, camaraderie and good times you have. I look forward to each new video. Thank you for sharing them with us. It means more than you know.

Congrats boys! As one of those service members you thanked for their service I appreciate hearing civilians remembering the things we had to do and time away from our families so all of us can enjoy the land of the free we call America. 21 years of service in the USAF meant I got to hunt a lot lees than I wanted but when I was able to get drawn and get home to hunt with family made it that much more special. Thanks for what you guys do and I can't wait to see what's next.

To the extended BRO team... many thanks for this project. Just returned home to NW Washington after a coastal road trip and wondered earlier in the week what you might have planned for this episode as we cruised through Coos County. This year's Oregon home state tribute is a dandy and after this long awaited draw and such success, it's sweeter still. You've clearly upped the video production game as well with this installment's frame highlighting, the music match to the gravity of the 20 year anniversary and the great time-lapse close. Hopefully you've all enjoyed some delicious elk roast tonight and are warm and dry through this crazy monsoon rain. Many thanks for the sharing you do.
