@28:20 had me cracking up. Amazing what we do when the hunting slows down.

Randy, I have to disagree with one of your statements in this video. You stated that elk will always get down wind before trying to see what they are hearing. I always thought that too. Mainly because I was told that growing up. But the more I hunt and play with elk calling them in, the more I believe that they will more often than not, try to see what’s making the call before they resort to getting down wind to try to get the scent. How many times have you had elk come straight in only to hold up when they think they should see that sweet cow that’s been inviting him to come over and then circle down wind and smell you. Once you think about that, you just might agree with me. Love your content!

I have found that also. That's why it works best to have someone 15 or 20 yards behind the hunter

Perseverance builds character and you are a character. I’ve been there, done that here in Oregon…guess that makes me a character too 😂

I was thinking .... any of you desk hunters get a chance to see Randy's trophy room?

I’m not sure why I watch this Randy. It’s funny to watch you hunt because you try so hard. All you need is for someone to show where they are at. Keep trying Randy

The bulls stop talking at daylight....seems normal to me.Too many people blowing bugles and cow calls for too many years. The elk know it in many of the areas i have hunted and run from them.
