Exactly, great advice John! It's not fair to the person you're with if you're not all in. Same as in business, I see these people offering business advice saying don't follow your passion, just serve the customer - Well if your heart isn't into what you're doing then the end product is going to suffer and you're cheating the customer by selling them a shit product or service. I’m in a situation where I’ve been living with a girl for 4 years. She’s great, not much I can say about her. However her family wants me to join her religion. Though I resonate with the religion, I am not sure if me doing it will take the frame away and I also know that I can be single and focus solely on me. I also have a urge to explore. That said she is great, and we have a relationship based on similar values aside the religion thing. Not sure what to do tbh, but this may be the route…. I’m not sure smh

If you genuinely resonate with the religion then you won't lose frame to adopt it if you choose. As for whether to stay with what sounds like a good potential wife or go out and explore, you need to get clear on what is most important to you for your life and then let go of all attachment to the other side because you can't have both. Maybe you go explore and then find another potential wife later but it would be a different life, so get clear on your priorities and make a plan.

Yeah, it would not be hard for me as I have always related to the beliefs and followed aspects of it without actually being in any religion. Point taken, I definitely need to clarify with myself on what matters to me. There risks associated with both options. Me and her are compatible in so many ways, and though I’m sure I can meet other women, she is devoted to me and my aspirations. So as you mentioned I have to get my priorities in check!
