Hi Tim!! WOW so there really is a dozer video lol!! I loved watching the land being cleared and all those trees coming down. It is amazing how that dozer knocked those trees down like they were toothpicks. I hadn’t realized how powerful of a machine it is. Great video Tim and well worth the wait. 💜

I love watching dozers work, they get a lot done quite quickly. I imagine how much longer this would take with your loader. When the dozer is done you will get so much satisfaction with your loader tidying up. I have suggested to Dave that he needs to do this quite a while ago as I thought he would overwork or break Uber. Uber is a tractor with a loader just like old blue. Drew’s loader is stronger but still limited by comparison with a dozer. I have seen a loader lifted by the root ball, damaged sump and unable to move. A crane was needed at great cost to lift that loader. Hiring dozer was one of the first things I did when I built in the bush, just no mucking around, the best bang for the dollar. Then I could get on with the work that I could do.

Aren’t these machines amazing. I love them, I love all machinery. It’s like a big monster is stomping through the jungle. What happens to the trees and all the debris? I love watching this. 😁👏👏👏👏👏 💃 💃nothing beats a drone POV. Very good choice of music given its a clearance for your new chapter 😉😍

Why don't you use some of the trees for lumber?
@RidgeLife10 ай бұрын
I don't have a mill and most of these are too small for dimensional lumber.
@CCRider531210 ай бұрын
Tim I had a powerline going across my property where I was putting in a pasture like that and I went ahead and fenced it in and I installed a 10 foot wide cattle gate right where the power line started to cross my pasture. The cattle gate has a log chain with 2 locks on it, one is my lock and the other lock belongs to the power company. So either one of us can access it without the other, That way if they ever have to get inside & I’m not around then Duke Energy has their own key. But after 25 years they have never used the gate to my knowledge, but it satisfied them just knowing they had access to get into my pasture. They knew I had livestock in the pasture so they'll be respectful not to let my animals out if they ever have a reason to come In my gate. But you could fence that In and get with your power company and do the same thing i done. Just know that just because the line crosses your property there’s no law says you can’t fence it in as long as you give the power company access to get in. If you fenced it in At least you could utilize that extra 1+ acres of grass & with horses and cows you’ll need all the hay / grass you can utilize . Plus it will make the pasture and property look better with the fence going down along by the road. Just a suggestion brother 😁👍🏼
@CCRider531210 ай бұрын
Also Tim if you did decide to fence it in you may want to consider taking down any trees along close to that power line where it crosses your pasture. That way if in a storm a tree fell it wouldn’t hit the power lines that cross your pasture. There are no trees where the power line crosses my pasture that could potentially fall and hit my lines.
