I've never been a Bulleit orange label fan, but I do love the 10 year version. I think a more fair comparison would be between the Blender's Select and the 10 year, so how do you think the Blender's Select compares to the Bulleit 10 year version?

Love the head to head of core vs special edition! I just bought a store pick Bulleit Single Barrel at 104 proof. Excited to try it and tempted to go buy an orange label to do a head to head.

Give it a try! Regular Bulleit is entry level but this is great!

Hi, great review! Was wondering whether there are any differences between Bulliet bought since 2019 and those bought before as I read from a few sources that claimed Bulleit and Four Roses broke their contract a few years ago and the batches made by Four Roses would stop around 2019. I want to try a bottle now but I'm afraid the current Bulleit will be very different from past tasting notes and reviews that tried the Four Roses version.

I honestly have not tried a beyond 2019 regular base bulleit. I know they are continuing to incorporate their own juice all the time tho

I enjoy your channel and feel that your reviews have never led me astray. I purchased BS in Colorado two weeks ago and boy oh boy, it's good. I only knew about it because of a review I watched from another well known bourbon reviewer. Anyway, I purchased it for the same price you mentioned. I hope BS stays available and hopefully all this good buzz (positive reviews) doesn't drive up the price. For me 100 proof is perfect. Do yo know the mash bill in this recipe?

It is a blend of 3 recipies so likely multiple mashbills. It is either 20% or 35% rye since that is Four Roses standard recipies. Barrel strength is nkce as well but personally I prefer the single barrel four Roses picks I have had over the bullet BS. Thx so much for watching!

It drinks closer to the WT101 because of the spice. The OF 100 is much smoother with less spice. This drinks closer to a four roses small batch to me

Honestly I think I preferred the blunders select to the barrel strength. I feel like they are better barrels they blended with and the proof in the barrel strength just covers up some flaws in my opinion. Both are good but I would prefer 4 roses barrel strength picks over bullet

Not a big fan of 4 roses! Started on Woodford Reserve and 4 Roses seemed like a step down!

Bought this when it came out as the marketing and story of the master blender seemed like the company trying to change their image after their bad press. The juice blew me away. Tons of fruit flavors and clearly some low rye Four Roses mashbill in there. Not a fan of it being limited release, that shit needs to stop. Great review.

Thx so much and I agree, the rye is present but nkt overwhelming. Like let alot of that 20% mashbill. I was honestly really surprised I liked it as much as I did! I hope the distribution footprint continues to expand and it hits MI sometime!
