I'm also a big Jim Root and Slipknot fan and once I felt the quality of the instrument I was sold. I also made a promise to myself to finally invest in a high class instrument instead of keep getting "medium zone" guitars :) Also I love the fact that strat purists really get P'd off about the concept of a heavy metal EMG loaded strat xD
