I think there is a unlock for killing a boss that has glitter on it. But I think it's for a specific boss. I forget which. Oh and don't forget to push a table into a pit. That unlocks the amulet of the pitlord I believe. Not 100% on the item, but table into pit does unlock something. You get an unlock for using blood shrine a certain amount of times. I believe there is one for the companion shrine too. So on a new save try to use them every time you see them. ;)

I just started playing this game about a week ago. And all day today I kept getting the boss at 31:45 and I only beat him once so to hear that you think he’s difficult and probably one of the hardest in the game was reassuring

I watched this whole series once before but just yesterday I beat the marine's past and up to that point I only used three guns, the frost giant for room clear, the mega hand for bosses, big iron with the heavy bullets synergy for bosses and room clear. I also had the clown mask with the blank clown and the shotgun clown as well as a jammed super space turtle. It was the most perfect run I've had.

Ayy just beat dragun on my 7th run! It was my first time even getting to him! I got to the forge twice before but always died before the boss room. I was playing with the Marine. I got the crystal gun or whatever and BSG too! I also had fat bullets, bouncy bullets and the fire bullets and some other nice passives. Got a few master rounds from the first three floors and the item that gives you one armor every floor. :) Your videos helped me a lot, especially the part you said in an earlier episodes about clearing rooms as fast as possible and not to be too worried about ammo.

Hey Retro, I really like this game and have about 40 hours on it, however I still haven’t found a keyboard layout that doesn’t entirely confuse and tangle my fingers during play. Wanted to ask what you have set up and how it’s evolved over time through your own gameplay and experience. I am not habitually a PC player and am more accustomed to a console controller. Think there is a layout that would be friendly to a new-ish PC player? Thanks and love the content.

I am quite new to the game as well but putting the button for switching guns to the left of spacebar (in my case, command button since I'm using Mac) helped me a lot. Having to move my pinky finger downwards to switch gun while moving proved to be too complicated for me to handle. Just a suggestion though!

Personnaly I use a controller for enter the gungeon even on pc and it works well, although some items like robot bullets or red cape do not work as well than with a keyboard and mouse but you can overlook these problems very easily.

I think Mimics can't show up for the first few hours of gameplay, although I don't know for how long exactly or if it takes the fact that you have other save files into account. Edit: Also, I You need to use the blood-sucking shrine twice to unlock the Life Orb, so definitely use it whenever you get the chance.
