The first role probably when I saw him was in the Last Samurai as Ujio. And I loved him from the beginning. He's like an fine wine. The older the better I must say. However he still remains humble. And I like that. Would like to know him in person.

Hiro-san is so appreciative of all the roles that have been offered to him as an opportunity to learn and advance his career. I am so happy that he is finally being recognized by EVERYONE that he is not only an outstanding martial arts action actor, but he has honed his talent further by being a producer for Shogun! "I love this movie" is so adorably funny coming from him as he seems so serious most times!! The movie was so fricken' funny and Hiro was just great in it! He's THE GUY! He's always the one to call to be in your movies. Love him and wish him all the best with Shogun Season 2/3 and Mortal Kombat!!!

This Man is phenomonal. Loved him since seeing The Last Samurai already, he has a special Attitude that seems so strict in his roles but you know theres more behind the character at the same time. It's absolutely thrilling to watch his performances.
