I have a tacsport pro and it is giving me issues. It feels very light and inconsistent and will occasionally just not fire with trigger press (i can then get it to fire usually by starting to lift the bolt or pushing on the bolt) . It was set perfectly in this rifle originally and i tried to adjust it at one point and haven't gotten it to work since. I did take it apart and thoroughly clean it

I have recently purchased my second Tac Sport trigger for Remington 700. It did not include the bolt release activator. It ride to replace it with one I scavenge one from an old Remington but it doesn’t work well at all despite trying to adjust it. Was this an oversight or something you do routinely? Do you have ones that fit better.and work as they are supposed to?

Hi I currently have a competition trigger and absolutly love it in my custom rem700 223, however in my custom defiance action the sear is too short and has about 40thou less firing pin drop than my Jewel triggers which seems to be causing inconsistent ignition. Is there a sear i can buy for it ? I live in Australia. Also i am interested in the new tac sport pro.... are the sears on these similar specs to the jewels?

I was at the range today, and my BR trigger in a custom benchrest rifle failed to fire. I pulled the trigger, and nothing happened, then a few seconds later, the trigger activated and the round was fired. I have had the rifle since November, and have about 1200 rounds shot in it so far. What should I check to make sure the trigger is functioning correctly? Thanks

I am having the same problem! Do you have a fix
@Millsman023 жыл бұрын
@@mcraebob9 I did clean the trigger well, per the video. Removed the housing plate, removed the two ball bearings, and thoroughly rinsed the internals down with lighter fluid. I dried the trigger off using a can of electronic air cleaner, and reassembled, and it has not happened again. I do have a small squeak in the trigger now, but it does not seem to affect the function of the trigger.

How can I contact you via email? I’m having trouble with cocking on my Bix trigger. Bolt starts cocking as I’m closing my action with a click as I go?

Skip the brake cleaner and go with electrical contact cleaner.

Got a competition trigger in a barnard. The problem is set below 400grm very good but over 450grm sear engagement becomes inconsistent and creep a problem. Tried both medium and heavy springs to no availe. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix. Need 500grm to comply with rules. My gunsmith spent considerable time to no avail.

Creep occurs when there is too much sear engagement. With too much sear engagement you are pulling across the face of the bottom sear just to get to where the engagement is correct, then it lets off. Once you have adjusted the sear engagement so that there is no creep before the trigger fires, you should experience better consistency and zero problem when set to 500 grams. If the issue persists please call me at 701-371-4444. Les
