@@gingerman5123 You're right about that, and why I also bought the mount. It's been working great, still very solid and sturdy, with excellent reception/transmission reports. I only remove the antenna (and use rain cap) when going through a carwash, otherwise the antenna stays on full-time. I'm using a Comet B-10 antenna and am surprised how well it works for as short as it is. Which antenna are you going to use on the mount?

@@michaelt.9372 It's been 7 months of perfection and no issues. The mount is still very secure and hasn't loosened up, and all of my signal reports are still very good. I have a Icom 5100 and use a Comet B-10 dual band 1/4 wave VHF/UHF antenna for Ham radio. The antenna is only 12" tall so it clears the 8' garage door and stays on my F-150 full-time with the exception of going through a carwash (replace with rain cap through the wash). Regrets: I should have bought the dual antenna mount, one side for Ham radio and the other side to swap between CB and GMRS antennas/radios, depending on trip/need. I take a lot of RV'ing trips and a CB radio to talk to the truckers on the open road would be very helpful... and, when I travel with other RV'ers they seem to have gravitated towards GMRS (my GMRS callsign is WRXY843)... so swapping the second half of the dual antenna mount would have been a very clean way to have other radio options. Anyway, the product has been good to me and I will purchase another mount again for my next truck's radio needs. Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL / WRXY843 / Silver Bullet

Anybuddy do a durability test. Like drive some brushy, trees hang’n over the roadz yet. Wood be nice to have for the fleet. Just worry bout ripping taillights off or wire cuts

Indeed we have, extensively. Some of the NMO antennas have integrated springs towards the base of the antenna to soften the blow and other have some flex in the rubber, like the one shown in the video. That being said, a direct impact very low on the antenna is different than the top of the antenna dragging across low hanging tree branches and such. These mounts are very durable and have been tested in some of the harshest conditions.

They do have a mount for a 1999-2016 f250/ super duty. It’s just a single antenna mount without lights but they carry them.

Are the amber lights bright enough to safely use as chase lights?

Yes, the amber is preferred for dusty conditions and these have proven to be adequate in even the dustiest conditions.

Yes you can. You will need an NMO antenna from Weboost (part number 314405) and then give us a call and ask for the SMA Connector to be installed on the cable for your antenna mount. We have them in stock and ready to ship.

Steady burn.. and there are many stroke modules available online that you could wire in to make the LED lights strobe/flash.

These antenna mounts offer a clean way to pass the antenna cable from the outside to the inside of the cab. The cable, once inside of the cab is typically run into the headliner and down the most convenient pillar and either to the radio mounted under the back seat, or to the middle console. The end of the antenna cable connects to most radios using the PL-259 cable end.

@@4liter There is a short section of wiring as part of the LED light. Switches and additional wiring are not included and we have found that personal preference is a big deal with adding switches top the inside of the truck. Poke around online a bit and find the switches that best fit your needs/wants.
