The way he starts the song with that little speech, it makes me think that he wrote this song based on a personal experience. He always sings with such passion in his voice - he's my favourate artists and I agree with most here, this is also my favourate song out of his collection.

I feel the exact same way, but I think he's happy with the point he's at with his music, I mean he's making a living doing what he obviously loves to do. And I'm sure we both agree that if he really wanted to make an album that would get him a ton of mainstream airplay, he could, very easily, he just doesn't want to put out a bunch of cookie cutter crap for the exposure.
