Had a similar problem in my kitchen... one day the sink started just filling up. Discovered that I had pulled the sink stopper, and the force of the water casued that HEPVO sleeve to turn inside out (now facing upward instead of downward which meant no water was going to drain). Disassembled the valve assembly and pushed the sleeve back down and all was good to go.

I had a combo washer dryer in my apartment and I had to clean out the lent after a while (door both right) and that made the biggest water mess in my apartment so careful opening that up it will flood your RV

Where's your 4" air vent exiting at? It doesn't appear that it's exiting out of the side. I see you have an access hole cut towards the back and am wondering if you installed the vent to exit underneath the front nose.

I opted for a condensing model from LG, so no exhaust. During dry cycle it basically drains the moisture through the same drain line used in wash cycle. They are more popular/common in Europe.

Great video. How did you get the insulation to stay in place?

Thank you. I used rockwool insulation which is a bit more dense/firm than fiberglass. I staggered the joints kinda like bricks and with the shape of the front cap they almost interlocked together in a sphere-like or arch-like manner. I don't think they'll shift in transit with the pressure of fitting them into that shape locked them together, but I guess time will tell. Really the way I did it is only possible post cap install and not the way they lay the insulation at factory prior to cap.

Awesome video, I followed all of your advice as well as purchased an LG unit. Did you get any instructions on winterization? This is my first non-Splendide unit so I want to get it right, thanks!

Thank you. On the LG units...technically they're not rated for RV use, so no specific instructions for winterizing. Best bet would be to either run cycle with RV anti-freeze feeding inlets and then once you see pink from drain line stop cycle. I never winterized as I just temp inside above freezing. Sorry I don't have more helpful info.

@@mike_adams Completely overkill, but just a proactive wear layer to dissipate any friction from the vibrations that could transfer to the liner tray. Probably not necessary, but figured why not.

@@AdventureRocks.. yeah, just finished watching the first video where you explained the extra wear material as a preventative measure. Great video. Want to install this model in our 2021 Northpoint 377 and not drill a hole in the sidewall. If we were a larger family, or full timed in it .. "vented" .. likely the better approach for those conditions.

@@mike_adams I think the LG leads the pack in the condensing no-vent category, especially in terms of how dry it gets. There are pros and cons like anything, but overall I think it's best choice to avoid drilling hole in wall and get an overall experience that delivers/works in the end. Otherwise agree for full-time or heavier use the vented is probably better all around.
