@@redpill7238 Ever heard of changing your own diaper? Ever heard of the Boy Scout motto, "Be Prepared"? Evolution happens due to changing conditions, but first you have to survive those changing conditions. Learn to take care of your self, because when seconds count, help will be minutes or hours away, if it is even available. But then there are those who leave their cave to beg, borrow, or steal from others when they find themselves short of food. Would that be you? Do you plan on evolving into a thief, or has that already happened?

I always liked the end of each show, when they talked about the likelihood of each event the preppers, prepared for. They typically gave each one an extremely low likelihood, yet now (maybe 10 years after the airing of these shows) most are on the verge or already happening. The polar shift is looking more likely as the poles are accelerating in movement and last year was 60'.

That first couple shot the strongest part of a container, not the actual walls, which are nowhere near bullet resistant. I'm also sure most people won't be using a 22lr to storm the castle. They also talk about earth quakes yet I didn't see any type of restraints on their shelving to keep everything from just being shaken off. They had some decent ideas otherwise.

Emergency rooms typically run at a loss of revenue, a waste? Maybe. Until it is needed. How many people are involved in self defense requiring a firearm but lug one around everyday? Seat belts, safety glasses, chain guards etc. I was just looking in Alabama for property and would absolutely have an underground bunker there. It would be for tornadoes or whatever. Probably another waste unless I needed it.

Hello, as a prepper I am always really worried to see people stockpiling canned goods and MREs. Don’t get me wrong they’re good to have on hand, however MREs go bad after three years and canned goods only last up to maybe 4-5 years. Most people don’t store food correctly, so their food stores will go bad. You need freeze dried foods,/‘d dried goods. Pasta, rice, oats, flour, beans, wheat, and corn are your best bets to start with. If you can afford to either freeze dry your own food or buy freeze dried meals, go for it. Focus on getting trusted brands and stuff that you will like eating. If you can, get peanut butter mix or nut butter mix, not the actual nut butter. Oils and fats go bad after one year and will not keep. As for water, just buying bottled water is a good start, but it will only be good for a year. Even water stores in those big blue containers will go bad after a year. So make sure your water peeps are constantly updated. If you have a pool, you’re one of the lucky few.

You can always gather and hunt in a bug out, if your Homebase is overrun or destroyed, so get the tools in a bag first, with compatible back ups. Make sure the tools have multiple uses, a pocket knife will only get you so far. Gold is only useful in a modern world. It's only useful for tech and looks. Other than that, it's dead weight.
