My Grandpa loved bullheads, when we were little kids we liked bullhead fishing with grandpa! Good eats and better memories. Thanks for the video. Now I take my grandkids fishing.

You know what else is good flathead bait? Anything that swims pretty much. I prefer goldfish myself.

There are lots of bullheads in the lakes and ponds where I live. I kinda want to try one now after watching this video

I can't imagine catching them in a body of water that big. I used to go mudcat fishing in some deeper holes in a creek that mostly dried up in the summer and in one of our farm ponds that was maybe a foot deep. Those are some hardy fish. I think they could live in just some runny mud if it was thin enough to go through their gills.
@go2know221 Жыл бұрын
I could see that. I agree they are pretty hardy. 👍

do the bones cook out? I see the spine and ribcage is still in. Do you have to eat around it or do they cook out?

They don’t cook out, just use a fork and pull the meat off. Pretty easy

Here in Texas there are entire restaurants dedicated to catfish and the price reflects thier greed towards this trash fish

So because YOU don't like it it's a trash fish? Obviously a lot of people disagree with you if there's whole restaurants dedicated to them.

Back in the slave days ribs were considered thrash meat that the sorry slave owners would let their slaves keep and eat. Look how ribs have evolved and how expensive they are and how restaurants are dedicated to just ribs. Catfish is awesome.
