I don't know the storyline, but the plot twist seems straightforward at this point. The fake miyu killed the real miyu. Reason? Fake one loved the real one, but the real one loved male lead. The fake miyu knew when and where the two childhood friends would meet up because she was a stalker of the real miyu, this is how the letter contained the exact meeting place as the original agreement, except half an hour earlier than the original meeting. The plan was not to kill, but to make a true yandere love confession to the real miyu, however, things turned deadly. Now what happens when a yandere looses their love? Denial. She is faking miyu's life because of denial, she is looking for the 'real' killer because of denial, she is pursuing male lead because of denial. Eventually, male lead puts the pieces together and finds out the truth, while helping fake miyu find the killer. Tragic romance conclusions ensues. Exept, that's not really what happened. Because fake miyu actually was in love with male lead all along! It was fake miyu who made male lead break his bones while falling down the stairs. It was fake miyu who killed and prevented the real one from meeting him, otherwise they might fall in love! Because fake miyu, is the real miyu! Pretending to be fake. OK, maybe a little bit contradicting, but the narrative power is there. The story could go anywhere.

Well, that would make sense if the fake miyu didnt have the goal of elimnating the entire class. Shes doing this because she has no clue who killed OG miyu just that they were in the same class, instead of figuring it out shes just going to kill all of them. Why would she do that if she just wanted to replace real miyu? And if she IS real miyu why would she go through all this trouble when she can just stay with the MC? To me it seems like fake miyu is truly a yandere that is obsessed over their love. They LOVE the OG miyu; and they say that imitation is the best form of love. So it makes sense for this yandere to imitate OG Miyu to the best of her ability while also seeking revenge. I dont think shes in denial, from a narrative stand point it would just make for really generic and bad writing, but also logically her actions dont align at all. Even if she was in denial, why would she decide that the perpetrators must be OG miyus classmates? They would need some sort of inspiration for that and the only inspiration i could think of is the real miyu and the MC are in the same class and she loved the MC so the fake miyu wants to kill the mc or smth. It just doesnt really make sense.

That's why Yuushin managed to deduct that the Miyu in front of him is different by just observing Miyu's obsession and manner of eating Taiyaki. Considering that this simple action triggered her cover to be blown, how could this Miyu fool both her parents and the parents of the other Miyu if she really is the True Miyu?
