This one is kinda boring. Manga cannot decide what it wants to be besides the usual romance aspect. If this is meant to be a story of both growing up as individuals, changing to better themselves due to their past and learning as they go. Or, if it is meant to be about one who has put in the effort and has grown and is now helping the other do the same. Both MCs are wasted, really. I can see why most saw Hebikawa as the most interesting, if not the only interesting character. Kusunoki really needed a Male MC she could as I stated rely on and actually embodies that guy who helps her grow or someone in same boat she can grow with. Male MC just don't work, he is a typical bland, dull cardboard MC anyone could replace and self-insert himself as. Like those typical boring harem MCs back in the 90s and 2000s and repopularized these days by Kirito clones.

Not really the kirito clones are boring MC cause they usually are the can do everythink if they try kind of Characters with no flaws and usually being the only Person important into the story outshining every other characters he Is Just a normal person with trauma and social anxiety i Don't see what Is wrong with him as a character
