Hell yeah! look at the young Ewing, and the young Jordan. Thanks so much for this. Dammit I wish The Knicks could've won ONE championship for Patrick. If only Bernard King didn't tear up his knee. If only Charles Smith could've made a fucking layup. If only Olajuwon didn't get lucky and get his fingertips on Starks's 3 at the buzzer. Fuck!

I wonder who felt worse about that Pippen thing though, The Knicks or The Sonics. I mean there's no guarantee The Knicks would've drafted Pippen. They wasted their 5th pick on Kenny Walker in 1986, so they probably would've fucked it up anyway, but Seattle actually drafted Pippen, and then traded him. Imagine Pippen, Kemp, and Payton? Dayum!

That is fucked up man. I was only 10 in 1987 so I didn't really know all of the nuiances of how The Knicks got their team, except for Wilkins and Ewing. But I was looking at that draft picks the other night, and saw The Knicks 5th pick was traded to Seattle, in which they drafted Pippen then traded him to Chicago. Pippen and Ewing together, would've had at least one championship. Would've gave Ewing another scorer, and would've taken a HUGE part away from The Bulls dynasty.

The Henderson trade was a bad deal. The Knicks gave up a 1st round pick in 87 draft which wound up being Scottie Pippen. Imagine Pip as a Knick instead of the Bulls. Damn!

The Knicks came in a dreadful 6-21..this coming 3 seasons after they nearly beat the Boston Celtics in the world playoffs..
